48V 160Ah NFPP Sodium-Ion Battery Pack with LCD and Parallel Communication | Home Solar Storage
A system-ready sodium-ion pack for residential and light commercial solar: LED state-of-charge display, CAN/RS485 inverter communication, and parallel support for up to 15 units — 7.68kWh per pack.
Key Advantages
- LED SOC display — six-level capacity indication plus RUN/ALM status at the front panel, no laptop needed on site.
- Parallel up to 15 packs — scale from 7.68kWh to over 115kWh using DIP address 2-15 and RS485 polling.
- Inverter-ready communication — CAN 500K and dedicated RS485 for inverter dialogue, plus RS232 for host software.
- 160A max continuous discharge — handles whole-home backup including motors and air conditioning startup.
- 10,000 cycles, -20°C to 70°C — sodium-ion chemistry keeps capacity in cold garages and hot plant rooms.
Product Overview
This configuration is aimed at installers building home or small commercial systems. Each pack provides 7.68kWh at 48V, and the DIP switch plus dual RS485 ports let up to 15 packs operate in parallel, with one pack acting as master and reporting the aggregated bank data to the inverter.
The front panel carries a six-level LED state-of-charge bar, RUN and ALM indicators, and a buzzer that can be enabled or disabled from the host software. Sleep and wake logic reduces self-consumption to below 200 microamps in low-power mode.
Commissioning uses the standard 48V workflow: connect the DC cables, set the DIP address, select the inverter protocol over CAN or RS485, then verify the SOC LEDs and alarm state.
Applications
- Home solar self-consumption
- Off-grid and weak-grid households
- Small shop and workshop backup
- Multi-pack parallel banks
- Cold-climate residential storage
