48V 160Ah 7.68kWh NFPP Sodium-Ion Rack Battery | 160A Max Discharge | 10,000 Cycles
Exliporc model FP-N-48160 — a 48V 160Ah sodium-ion rack battery built for telecom sites and solar backup, with 160A continuous discharge, 10,000 cycle life and stable operation from -20°C to 70°C.
- 160A continuous discharge (1C) — covers high-startup loads such as telecom rectifiers and pumps without derating.
- 10,000 cycles at 25°C — sodium-ion chemistry delivers long service life with 80% capacity retention.
- -20°C to 70°C discharge window — no heating blanket needed in cold sites, no derating in hot cabinets.
- Inherently safer chemistry — sodium-ion cells avoid the thermal runaway risk profile of lithium packs.
- Rack form factor 732 x 482 x 230mm — fits standard 19-inch cabinets with front handles and terminals.
The FP-N-48160 uses NFPP sodium-ion cells configured 1P16S, giving a nominal 48V 160Ah pack with 7.68kWh of usable energy. Sodium-ion chemistry is intrinsically safer and remains functional across a far wider temperature window than LFP, which makes it a practical choice for outdoor telecom cabinets and unheated solar plant rooms.
The integrated BMS handles cell balancing, over-charge and over-discharge protection, over-current, short circuit and high/low temperature protection, and communicates over CAN 500K, dual RS485 and RS232. Front LEDs show state of charge and alarms, and DIP switches allow addresses 2-15 for parallel banks.
The pack measures 732.3 x 482 x 230.6mm at approximately 95kg, with front handles for two-person rack installation. Standard charge and discharge current is 80A, with quick charge and maximum continuous discharge both at 160A.
- Telecom 4G/5G base station backup
- Residential and commercial solar storage
- Industrial UPS and emergency power
- Off-grid microgrids and remote sites
- Cold-climate and high-temperature installations
